States, he looked the wrong way and was run over by a New York taxicab. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, he made good use of his time while he recovered in the hospital. Do you know what he did? He made $5,000 while in the hospital by writing an article about what it is like to be run over by a car! Really.
Even in serious setbacks, Churchill had a fantastic ability to find something encouraging. Instead of complaining about your setbacks, turn them around and use them to your advantage.
